In 2013, as Maxel celebrated its 10th anniversary in reel manufacturing, the company unveiled the revolutionary Transformer series of jigging reels. In 2014, Maxel introduced the Hybrid series—a new concept star drag jigging reel that redefined performance standards. The 2015 Hybrid version expanded the lineup with more sizes designed for North American fishing conditions.

Parallel to the reel advancements, Maxel expanded into jig lure design with its classic Dragonfly series .Up to now ,Maxel offers a wide range of jigs that are tailor made for both slow pitch and speed jigging .

Also in 2016 ,the lightweight ,state-of-art Oceanic series 2 speed trolling reels released to meet the demands of light tackle tournament anglers.
