July 2012 ICASTMaxel signed up a new distributor in USA. New Jersey based Folsom Cooperation will act as Maxel exclusive distributor to promote and distribute Maxel reels in USA .This is a major progress for Maxel global marketing.
August 2012Maxel signed up an exclusive distributor in New Zealand with Allied Outdoors Ltd. From Sept.7th-11th, Mr. Graeme Sinclair, the famous NZ TV fisherman filmed some good footage in Samoa with Maxel Sealion jigging reels, a good start for Maxel NZ market.
In October 2012Maxel field test team goes to Southern Oman with Ocean Active. During this trip, we have intensively tested Maxel light jigging tackle including Sealion jigging reels, Sealion limited jigging rods, Transformer light jigging rods, Transformer custom spools, Survivor carbon gimbal system, Transformer GT rod prototype, etc. A fishing video DVD has been released later on.

Nov. 9th 2013Maxel sponsored anglers took the No. 1 on the leader board in a major tuna competition in South Africa. Offshore angler Chris Sparg caught a 100.24kg yellowfin tuna with Maxel SE50WL trolling reel, half the top offshore anglers in SA have witnessed this exciting event. This is a major breakthrough for Maxel – SA.
November 2013Maxel purchased another new Japanese CNC lathe from Okuma Cooperation, the world top 5 brand in high quality, high accuracy CNC machines. With continuous investments, we aim to further improve our production efficiency & capacity, while ensuring the rigidity & precision of Maxel spools in particular.
